Perfect Pocketed Maxi Dress

If you saw our maternity photos, you already know that PinkBlush was my go-to for cute, comfortable maternity clothes during my pregnancy.

I also love their non maternity clothes as well! They carry the perfect maxi dresses. I feel like they are so flattering whether you're sporting a baby bump or not. :) This dress is gorgeous, light weight, and comfortable in the summer heat, and it has pockets! What more could you ask for?!

I love the print and color of this one. I also love how its sleeveless but still easy to wear. Its perfect for a more casual BBQ, or can be dressed up for a wedding!

I love these photos with Joslynne! She is wearing a romper I found at my parent's house that was mine as a baby. :)

Our 4th Anniversary

I can't believe 4 years ago today Wes and I said "I Do"! I could've never imagined just how sweet this life with my best friend would be. This morning being at my parent's house right across the street from where we had our first look has me thinking about how amazing it is to see where we are now. :)   I love our little family and being parents together!

To celebrate, I wanted to share some random memories from our love story that not many people know. ;)

Wes is my college roommate Shannon's little brother! When I heard about him from her,  he was in 11th grade, so I didn't even think that we'd cross paths in college.

Shannon later asked me to pray for her brother Wes as he decided where to go to college. And I did!

2 years later, the day I returned to campus for the new school year, I met Wes! At our school. And proceeded to try to find a freshman or sophomore to set him up with. ;)

Wes heard me telling someone my schedule, and he went back to see if he could add one of my classes to his schedule. On Monday, he was in one of my Junior courses! haha! His plan worked, because we studied a lot together for that class.

The first time Wes asked me out was to a Christmas concert at our school. I thought he was just asking as a friend, so I said "Ya sure, I'll just meet you there!" I had no idea he had feelings for me!

It took me 2 months to get with the program! ;)

By the time we started dating, Wes transferred to a local college in Utah. So, our entire dating relationship and engagement was long distance.

Except, for 8 weeks one summer when we bussed tables at Bryce Canyon National Park so we could spend time together! It was definitely worth it. :)

Wes proposed to me the day after I was officially done with college on December 16, 2012.

We got married on July 20, 2013 in the morning to beat the July Carolina heat! It was the best day ever.

Happy Anniversary Wes, I love you.
